Dark Souls 3 came out months ago, then I played it, ending up loving it, and hated it at the same time. Oh, yeah, I want more. DLC when?
I’m not sure if this is a review, but I will write down what I experienced so far. I’m not gonna tell you the lore, characters, etc. because that’s for you to experience. So anyway, it’s been months now, so I think I know the ins and outs of the game and gave it a proper final thought.
Because it feels like I’ll reach the point of no return after 5 episodes. Sorta happened in Aikatsu! S3 where I skipped a lot of episodes (Sakura’s ascension as SLQ, HinaJuri in that chili getup, two-drama episodes I think, the beach episode, the festival episode). Will I go back and watch those episodes, and finally 100% S3? I dunno. Maybe I will once I get a copy of the BD raws or have the time to get the BD sources and convert them to decent-sized quality encodes. But, yeah, I dunno.
Realistically though, I’ll probably watch those once I’m better at Japanese. It kinda sucks most of the time I only understood 60-80% of the story. I wouldn’t dare attempt watching a complex show without subs hence why I picked Aikatsu! (essentially a show for kids) as a learning tool. Then that means my Japanese proficiency is at an elementary level? Ouch.
Anyway, to make things easy for me and prevent myself from stopping this marathon, I’ll watch one episode, write a review of it here, watch another episode, and write the review here, and so on. I won’t make these reviews very detailed (again, I’m not good at Japanese), so… shall we start?
That didn’t last long, huh?
With so many stuff to do (gaming, general browsing, translating, working as a part-time writer), it’s very hard to set aside other stuff like watching anime and writing reviews. And from the looks of it, I’m considering dropping doing episode reviews of Aikatsu Stars!.
